I had such an amazing time at V Fest this weekend. It was also my first time ever going to a music festival, can you believe it?! I got my glitter glam on and went for a boho chic little number from Debenhams. I was ready to have a GOOD TIME.
The Saturday line up was so good and I was especially excited to see Sean Paul, Jess Glynne and Pink perform live. I treated this as an extension of my birthday celebrations this month so I went all out; went and got hooked up with a VIP pass and enjoyed nearly endless amounts of drinks and had food served to our little tipee area where our group was very well taken care of by the V Fest crew. Absolute bliss.
As it was my first time going to a festival, I wasn’t really sure what to wear so I spent quite a while browsing through social media to get a feel for what kind of outfit to put together. In the end, I went for a girly and boho look and bought the perfect casual dress from Debenhams. It was flowy and floral, just like I pictured it to be and it was so comfortable to move in all day. I super loved the kimono style sleeves as well, so pretty!
Issa VIP Vibe
Our VIP pass at V got us access to such a cute little tipee which had its own window opening out to the main VIP bar and had the VIP crew serving food right to our table. The decor had very boho chic vibes and had a palette of pink, gold and white shades from the sofas to the tables and draping. We were absolutely L-I-V-I-N-G.
V Fest Litness
The festival was incredibly LIVE. The atmosphere was buzzing and everyone was in such good spirits, all pumped up to have a good time. Craig David was a real crooner, his voice was just so romantically velvety, like ugh! *heart emojis* and got the crowd singing along to his classics. Jesse Glynne’s genuinely made us feel like there was no place we’d rather be at that very moment in time watching her hit all those notes onstage. Sean Paul was just the ultimate definition of litness that night and even brought out Anne-Marie as his surprise guest, while Pink’s entry number was just breathtaking as she was suspended in the air through a crane and then bungee jumped onto the stage – CRAZY! She did so many of her classics like: Just Like A Pill, Who Knew & Just Give Me A Reason. So nostalgic, I loved every bit of it!
V Fest was pretty awesome and has definitely set the bars high for the next music festival I’ll be going to in the future. The music was amazing and the VIP treatment was on point. It was a lovely belated celebration of my birthday and I can’t wait to go to my next one, wherever it may be. Coachella 2018 anyone?
